US 4/202 at Concord.

US 202 follows a somewhat secondary route in New Hampshire, especially west of Concord where the road does not dominate over the State Routes in the area. Between Concord and Rochester it is a somewhat more important road, as a direct connection between these two cities. US 202 is single-lane everywhere, except for the part that hitches with Interstate 393 at Concord.

US 202 was added to the network in 1934, after which the route in New Hampshire has not changed. It is one of the few US Highways in the state that has not been replaced by freeways, the Concord – Rochester connection is also the only one in the state that does not run two larger cities by highway.
