California is a state of the United States, which is located on the Pacific coast, on the west coast of the state. It borders with such states as: Oregon, Nevada, Arizona and Baja California (Mexican state). The state of California itself was founded on 09/09/1850, according to the account – this is the thirty-first state. Before justification, it was under the rule of Mexico and Spain.
The state of California is one of the largest states in all of America, the third largest, and the most populated. The state capital is Sacramento, but the largest city is Los Angeles. STATE NAME

GEOGRAPHY
The state of California stretches along the west coast along the ocean. In the south of the state is the state border with Mexico.
Geology

CLIMATE
Most of California has a Mediterranean climate with rainy winters and very dry summers. The ocean influences this part of the world so that summers are cool and winters are warm. In general, the state has a rather diverse climate, there is often fog along the coast, closer to the central part, a large variation in temperature in summer and winter, in the north there is much more precipitation than in other places.
The northwestern part of the state has a temperate climate. In the mountains, the climate is mountainous, winters are full of snow and warm but not hot summers. To the east of the mountains are the desert regions of the state where winters are cold and summers are hot.
Administrative device
California, like all states, is divided into 58 counties and 480 cities. San Bernardino is the largest county by area. In the United States, it is customary to divide cities into city – a large city and town – a small town. So in this state the government does not separate the cities and they are all under the same status, but 458 cities have specific names, in English it sounds like this, “city of city name”, and the remaining 22 “town of …”. Cities are divided into those that are under the general management and law of the state, and there are those, these are the largest, which have their own charters.
Sacramento received its first city status on February 27, 1850.
ECONOMY
The state of California accounts for about thirteen percent of the GNI of the United States of America. If you do not take into account the United States, Japan, Germany and several other most developed countries, then none of the countries in the world gives such indicators.
One of the most important sectors of the economy is agriculture, which includes the cultivation of vegetables, fruits, the production of wine and dairy products.
