Marquette students have the opportunity to develop legal skills in one of the school’s clinical programs. Students participate in internships with a variety of governmental and legal services agencies, as well as in internships with trial and appellate judges. Students may focus their studies in specific doctrinal areas including dispute resolution, intellectual property, and sports law.

The Law School sponsors four student-edited journals: The Marquette Law Review, the Intellectual Property Law Review, the Sports Law Review, and the Elders’ Advisor. Students may also participate in intramural and regional and national moot court competitions and client skills competitions and may earn recognition at graduation for participation in the Pro Bono Society.
