GRE Test Dates

There are two types of test format offered by the test maker – ETS: Computer-delivered and Paper-delivered GRE general tests.  For computer based test format, the GRE General Test is offered year-round on a continuous basis, and available for registration on a first-come, first-served basis. For paper based general test,  testing is available three times per year. The following test dates apply:

New York State Overview

Most of New York State is occupied by relatively gentle mountain peaks (New England Mountains, Taconic, Catskill, Adirondacks), plateaus (Allegheny, Hudson Highlands) and river valleys of the Appalachian mountain system. America the Beautiful

One of the quarter dollar coins from the America the Beautiful series is dedicated to the Saratoga National Historical Park, located in the state of New York.

The coin depicts a close-up of the hands of British commander John Burgoyne giving his sword to US Army General Horatio Gates as a symbol of surrender and recognition of the American victory at the Battle of Saratoga in 1777.

The inscriptions on the coin read Saratoga (“Saratoga”) and British surrender 1777 (“British surrender 1777”).
