What is the GMAT?

The GMAT is an internationally recognized language and knowledge test. The test consists of four sections that together aim to measure your academic ability and language skills. The result gives an indication of your study suitability.

That is why there are more than 300 MBA providers in United States as well as universities and business schools abroad who require that you have passed the GMAT test with a certain score to get through the eye of the needle for their educations.

However, it is not always necessary to have completed the GMAT test. Therefore, always check the admission requirements for the program or programs you want to apply for before you register for the test.

Before the GMAT test

It costs $ 250 to complete the GMAT test. The amount is paid upon registration, which takes place online on the official website of the GMAT, www.mba.com . Here you can also find current test dates near you. Always remember to check deadlines for the education you are applying for, so you are sure to choose a test date well in advance.

When you sign up for the GMAT, you also get free access to GMATPrep®, which is test software tailored to help you with optimal preparation. In addition, you can download a free handbook for the GMAT. When registering, you can also choose up to five universities or business schools to have your GMAT test score. If you later need to pass on your test result to other universities, there will be an additional fee.
