  • The basketball rivalry between the Kentucky Wildcats and Georgetown College Tigers goes back to 1902.
  • Georgetown College has produced five Rhodes Scholars and 38 Fulbright Scholars since 1989. The college also has an honors program and a partnership with Regent’s Park College, Oxford.
  • When the Georgetown College Boat Club, the school’s rowing team, was founded in 1876 it adopted two colors: blue, used for Union uniforms, and gray, used for Confederate uniforms.
