The climate of Samarkand
According to citypopulationreview, Samarkand is a large city in eastern Uzbekistan in the province of the same name of which it is also the capital. Samarkand is a very old city and was founded in the 14th century BC. Over the centuries, the city has been an important resting place along the Silk Road. In the 14th century AD, the city was the capital of the Timurid Empire, which conquered and subjugated large parts of Asia under the leader Timur Lenk.
