The display, according to ASUS, will be brighter than its direct rivals (1, 5 x over the competition), with a brightness of 600 nits in direct sunlight. It will also be resistantto water and grease and, in particular, suffer less of the footprints left while using.
The touch screen (multi touch up to 10 fingers) will have a reactivity of 50 ms (compared to 110 ms some competitors, less than half).
The new camera will mount a sensor with 8 megapixel camera with a focal ratio of F/2.4 (the same ratio of the new iPhone 4S), led flash and a backlit CMOS sensor. The camera will also have dynamic autofocus or manual focus (for better depth effect on shooting) by tapping the screen, noise reduction by low light sources and increased shutter speed. You can keep the led flash not only during but also with video camera mode. With the tablet you can also record movies in 1080 p HD.
The speakers will have a width of 6% greater than the previous (17x12mm) and will make use of technology ASUS Sonic Master, with a wider range of sound and a better reproduction.
The ASUS Eee Pad Transformer will be equipped with a new writing software, Super Note, with which to make notes in three different ways: virtual keyboard, dock and writing by hand by drawing directly on the screen (with the automatic resize of scripture to fit on the page). The same software can be used to edit video by adding graphic notes by hand. Also Polaris Office will be available and pre-installed.
